G2 Rail System

The G2 rail system, unveiled at the Sydney Olympics 2000, is a high speed single integrated system built primarily for the coverage of athletics and consists of straight and curved rail sections designed to follow the profile of the running track. G2 is configured to support the Wescam 16DB-320 and Cineflex V14 HD mount providing high quality steady images even at the highest tracking speeds.

For the Athens 2004 Olympics the camera buggy was upgraded to carry 2 open platform stabilised mounts, one being a HD camera and the other, for the first time ever, a Super Slow Motion camera, providing spectacular replay images of the home straight action.
